What is the season for hydrangea is? What time of year is Mini calla lily available and why do the prices vary?
Hydrangea is available year round and the colors vary slightly throughout the year.
White, cream, blue and apple green hydrangea is available all year round. However the dark green with hints of merlot is typically found in the fall and lavender hydrangea is more popular in the spring. The cost of hydrangea is typically the same all year round with the exception of the dark green with hints of merlot, is more costly in the fall.
Mini Calla Lily is a very popular wedding bouquet flower and is available year round. The Flame Mini Calla a favorite variety of mine. It mixes wonderfully with royal tones of red and dark blue but it also looks lovely with peach and buttercream. Mini Calla Lily are available all year round but the Flame Mini Calla is more expensive in the fall.
The flower market is largely driven by supply and demand.
